Edge AI Scout
An in-app chat that answers hunting questions from a sourced knowledge corpus.
UPDATED · September 12, 2026
Edge AI Scout is an in-app chat you can ask hunting questions. It's not a general-purpose chatbot bolted onto the app — it answers from a sourced knowledge corpus built around coyote hunting, and it's built to say when it doesn't know something instead of guessing at an answer.
What it's good for
Ask it the kind of question you'd ask a hunter who's been doing this longer than you: what a certain behavior usually means, how to read a set of conditions, what to try when calling has gone quiet. It draws on real hunting knowledge, and it knows where you stand: each time you ask, it is handed your lifetime totals, your recent hunts and tonight's read, so it can explain the number and help you plan around it. It never changes the number — the forecast owns the read, and the scout explains it.
What it will not do
RULE
Edge AI Scout does not give legal advice. It will not tell you what's legal to hunt, when, or how in your state — know your own regulations. That's on you, not the app.
It also won't invent an answer to stay helpful. If a question falls outside what the knowledge corpus actually covers, it says so rather than filling in a guess that sounds confident.
Good questions to ask
- "Why would coyotes stop answering calls after the first one?"
- "What's the difference between a howl and a bark in terms of what it means?"
- "What should I try on a stand where nothing came in?"
Availability
Edge AI Scout is included with Pro, at ten questions a day. It is not part of Free.
TIP
Treat it like a knowledgeable hunting partner, not an oracle — it's best for "what does this mean" and "what should I try," not for anything that depends on your specific stand, your specific ground, or your state's regulations.
